HISTORY
Asteria Network is a global studio, based in Milan, practicing sustainable architecture and engineering in an ethical, coordinated and culturally diverse manner. Asteria was founded in 2020 by highly experienced professionals who made their curricula available to the company.
THE CORE
D Asteria was founded by the union of professional practices creating its “core”. Initial ideas, research and direction are conceived by the “core”, which in synergy with the network, denvelops the project to its fullest state, guaranteeing a totally integrated and comprehensive approach. Our modus operandi is based on a continuous search for innovation and sustainability. We continue to learn from the past and creatively develop the challenges of the future.
STRATEGY
Concept, Ideation, quality, and attention to detail are the main experiences and strengths of our core: Claudio Bertani, Gabriele Cappai The daily management is provided by the team of senior partners, who share knowledge and work synergistically for their continuous evolution. We believe that the best project derives from a synthesis of all the elements that characterize its physiognomy: the structure that supports it, the services that allow it to work, its ecology, the quality of natural and artificial light, the symbolism of the context, the relationship with the landscape, the genius loci.

THE NETWORK
The network is made up of departments, each with specific experiences and skills, which together allow a multidisciplinary approach from the conception of the project. The subsequent phases are developed by the specific departments with an agile and rapid response, and in collaboration with other network partners as needed. Ecological, social, cultural and economic sustainability is at the heart of everything we undertake. We verify all projects against global standards, and develop tailored strategies that drive our agenda. Building in terms of sustainability requires us to design holistically; our unique integrated design approach allows us to develop innovative strategies that have a focus on the future of the environment and society. Architecture and concept design:
project conception and preliminary design, design development, 2D and 3D visualization, model-making, construction documents, overall communication, and project supervision.
Structural engineering:
project development, knowledge of non-linear materials and structures, vulnerability and anti-seismic verification, construction management.
Environmental engineering
research and design of systems aimed at reducing energy and water consumption, improving user comfort
Mechanical engineering:
innovation and design of mechanical systems, electrical and fire prevention systems, energy containment, acoustics, vertical transport, lighting engineering, construction management. .

research, know-how, production lines and processes, staff training, start-up assistance, personal training and monitoring
Electrical engineering:

Hydraulics, geotechnics, wastewater treatment:
Complete infrastructure process for slope arrangement, port areas, bank defenses and regulation of both rivers and seas. Sewers, aqueducts, wastewater treatment, design and approval phases, executive and post-executive phases
Procedures:
Knowledge of approval procedures (all phases) of commercial, industrial and tourist accommodation authorizations for medium and large structures. Many years of experience with VIA-VAS procedures, variants of urban planning instruments, Program Agreements, complex procedures.
